ADULT DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES (SUNDAY SCHOOL)

These classes provide the opportunity for persons to go deeper into Scriptural topics, thus helping them move from "the foyer to the living room" in their walk with God. Class electives include chapter by chapter studies of a particular book of the Bible (Genesis, 1 Corinthians, etc.), characters in the bible (Peter, King David, etc.), or a pertinent topic such as forgiveness, grace, or dealing with adversity. These classes are considered medium sized groups- smaller than the worship service, larger than small groups- and are a great next step beyond the Worship Service. They currently meet in the Christian Ed. building from 9:30 - 10:15 on Sunday mornings.

SMALL GROUPS

Water's Edge church has a host of small groups that meet each week, at various times and neighborhoods in Virginia Beach. These groups are typically clustered around a season of life (singles/young couples, couples with young children, women etc,) or a geographical location (Courthouse Estates, Buckner Farm, Norfolk, etc.). These groups are the best way to get involved at Water's Edge, to meet new people and develop deeper relationships, and to grow in spiritual understanding. These groups help move us from the living room to the kitchen; from learning to serving. Or as we like to say from seat2STREET.
